Now,
Let's talk about ME!!! |

Introduction:
My
name is Brandon Mazy.
I was born and raised in the great state of Texas! Texas is where I call home. As a child our family relocated periodically. Personally, I feel that has actually helped me to become the person I am today. With moving from town to town and school to school, I learned to make new friends and adapt to new environments and situations, with minimal stress and glide right into a new situation. Upon one of our moves we relocated to Brownwood,
Texas in 1983 from Athens, Texas. Where, I graduated Brownwood
High School in 1989.
Independence, The Moves:
In April 1994 I moved to Dallas
to attend The Art Institute of Dallas. I graduated in
Sept. 1996, to pursue my dream of being a artist. When
moving to Dallas, I moved on a grand total of $50.00 in my wallet, my parents almost
had a cow, thinking I was out of my mind. But I had to
do it. I would still be trying to save money to go to
school if I did not believe in myself. Actually, this
happened twice, I made it through my first quarter and
my X-girlfriend's mother passed away so we moved home to
regroup. Four months later I went up for a visit and
to drop my X-girlfriend off at the airport to leave for
her Golden Corral training, well to say the least, I
never went back home moved in with a friend and started school, I started my second quarter that
next week. Once again, my parents thought I was out of
my mind. But, deep inside I knew I could do what ever
I needed to do to feel this gap in my career. Little
did I know what road was ahead of me.
After Graduation:
The future started out quite the way I expected. You know, graduate high school, attend college, graduate college, find a good job, buy your dream home, get married, have kids, then live happily ever after, RIGHT!! Well, mine story is not quite like that. I was employed before graduation by a company in the Dallas area and things look great. I did buy my dream home landed lots of good jobs in the media industry, (not by choice, downsizing), never got married or have any kids, but fancy (Kathleen) may change that, I hope. I'm getting old you know ;).It has been an interesting
experience especially the last couple of years. My resume
looks like it was created by a job hopper. Much to my
dismay...
The Future:
I long to find the company that I can call home. With the financial
backbone and focus to drive new technologies and sustain industry trends. While using my experience and expertise of the
media industry to help drive the company into the future.
As time changes, so do individuals, the last couple of years have been hard for many individuals but I know deep inside, for me, this has happened for a reason. I don't know why at this point in my life but maybe in the near future I will be able to update this page and add in my own words the rhyme or reason I think it has happened. Until then..... stay tuned and see how the ride goes!!!
